IndieCan
is proud to promote Canadian indie music and provide a place
for fans to see, hear and read about indie life in Canada.
There
is so much more we want to do in terms of innovative programming,
event planning, regional representation, multi-media and
so on. We are calling on all businesses who believe, as
we do, that Canadian indie music is a significant corner
stone of cultural life and is worthy of our support.
It's
time to "pony up." The cost of provide this scale
of content is noteworthy and we seek your help.
WHY
IS IT WORTH IT?
The
country and the world craves Canadian indie music. Without
any advertising, listens of our flag ship show, THE
TORONTO INDIE SCENE have grown from 400
in March 06 to over 10,000 weekly listeners at the end of
'06 and by December 2007 weekly listeners eclipsed 32,000
- all through word of mouth. In 2007, we brought listeners
THE VANCOUVER, MONTREAL, OTTAWA, GUELPH and HALIFAX INIDE
SCENE. More will be added in '08
Our
show is heard on our affiliate FM stations, The Riot in
Durham, CILU in Thunder Bay, CKLU in Sudbury, CVUE, Sunshine
Coast B.C. and CFBX in Kamloops and over Internet radio
at ErrorFM.com and Radio3x.com

our web site, fans from the USA, Asia, Europe and Canada
tune in each week and click on to see our event and festival
